Job Context

The incumbent will be responsible for implementing all programs and activities relevant to the position in close collaboration with line managers.
Job Responsibilities
  • Attend and solve calls from POs/Business Partner regarding complaints and warranty claims
  • Check the faulty received goods whether it falls under warranty claims or not
  • Do the data entry regarding warranty claims and send the claimable warranty good to respective vendors
  • Do repair and replacement activities against justified claimable warranty goods
  • Maintaining registry, keep a record of challan, communicate customer about the goods warranty status
  • Ensure all the repaired/ replaced warranty claimable goods are returned to the correct customer/ destination within the warranty service time
  • Prepare monthly warranty report for management
  • Management of defective modules, batteries, charge controller, circuits from customers/carrier companies and maintain the database for all relevant information
  • Test and return defective materials found faulty after testing and send them to the factory for replacement/rectification
  • Identify and segregate defective materials found faulty after testing and send them to the factory for replacement/ rectification
  • Provide data for management reporting
  • Analyze data and recommend measures for preventive actions and improvement
  • Reduce warranty cost (by controlling wastage/rejections/implementing new innovations) to achieve continuous cost improvement
  • For warranty section implementation health, safety and environmental issues as per requirement and company policy
  • Ensure continual improvement of work process and self-development
  • Ensure the training of new employees for maintenance
  • Ensure ERP posting of the maintenance section
  • Generate requisition for required standard electrical and electronic components for repairable items.

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in EEE, Master of Science (MSc) in EEE
  • Skills Required: Analytical ability, good communication skill, Maintenance and Troubleshooting
