Category of Medical Cadets
AMC Cadets: After completion of internship training, AMC cadets will have to join Army Medical Corps (AMC) compulsorily. Army Medical Corps cadets are exempted from admission fee, tuition fee, and development charge. But they have to pay caution money, outfit, missing and laundry charges as per existing rates. Every Army Medical Corps(AMC) cadet will receive TK. 1500.00 (Taka one thousand five hundred only) per month as pocket money for a maximum period of 5 (five) years.

A candidate must be physically fit and conform to the minimum physical standard as laid down below:

AFMC Cadets:
- Height (Min) : Male- 1.57 m (5′- 2″) Female – 1.50 m (4′-11″)
- 20% over/under the weight of existing standard height/weight chart of Armed Forces will be considered fit.
- Visual Standard-6/6 in both eye correctable with (+ or – ) 4.00 maximum. Spherical/equivalent cylindrical power glasses will be considered fit.
- Color blindness is not accepted
- The hearing must be within normal limit
AMC Cadet:
- Height (Min) : 1.63 m (5’-4’’) :: Female – 1.57 m (5′-2″)
- Weight (Min): Male- 45.45 Kg (100 lbs) :: Female – 40.90 Kg (90 lbs)
- Chest (Min) : Male- Normal – 0.76 m (30″) Expanded – 0.81 m (32″)
Female – Normal – 0.71 m (28″)
Expanded – 0.76m (30’’) - Visual Standard- 6/6 () 2.5 corrected with glass)

AFMC Admission Educational Requirements:
- Interested students have to pass SSC or similar exam in 2014 & 2015 from science group,
- Students have to pass HSC or similar exam in 2016 & 2017 from science group,
- Candidates CGPA are 9.00 both of SSC or similar exam & HSC or similar exam,
- Candidate must get CGPA 4.00 in both of SSC or similar exam & HSC or similar exam,
- Below GPA 3.50 will not allow in any exam,
